About

Learn, practise, make.

NLTeach means No Long Teaching. We keep learning direct and practical: understand the principles, use them straight away, then make something of your own with them.

NLTeach CIC is a community-focused creative education and cultural production organisation. Our programmes bring together creative writing, rap, spoken word, music production and creative technology, and every one of them is built around producing real work — a written verse, a recorded song, a beat, a performance.

Our Approach

Understanding → Execution → Innovation

01

Understanding

Learn the principles, the context and the fundamentals. There's no fun without the fundamentals.

02

Execution

Put those principles straight into real creative activity — writing, recording, performing, producing.

03

Innovation

Experiment, develop your own ideas and make something new with what you now know how to do.

Experience

A new CIC, built on long practice.

NLTeach CIC was founded by Jesse-Lee “LeeN” Norville — freestyle artist, music producer, recording and mix engineer, workshop facilitator and course designer.

He brings more than 20 years of work across live music, freestyle performance, studio engineering, music production, creative education and youth and community practice. That practice is the foundation NLTeach has been built on.

NLTeach CIC itself is a newly established organisation, and we're clear about the difference: new company, experienced practice.
